Comparison of overall survival after segmentectomy versus CIRT for lung cancer. Kaplan–Meier estimates of the survival probability at 2.5, 5, and 7.5 years after segmentectomy in 48 patients were 98%, 96%, and 96%, respectively (blue line), and those after CIRT in 14 patients were 93%, 86%, and 64%, respectively (red line). The log-rank test showed inferior survival in CIRT group compared with segmentectomy group (P = 0.000860)
