Threshold values (TH max ) obtained at a range of motion amplitudes measured in a phantom with an air background. Regardless of concentration or size, THmax was dependent only on amplitude. Because the data fit well (R2 = 0.982) with an exponential function, it may be possible to use the function to approximate THmax from motion amplitude.
