Colony forming assay after exposure of U251 (A) or MIA PaCa-2 (B)cell lines to different concentrations of NVP-HSP990 alone at37°C (black bars) or in combination with hyperthermia (greybars). Triplicate data from two experiments were averaged andnormalised against non-treated controls (DMSO). Colonies containing atleast 50 cells were scored. All data are obtained from 3 independentexperiments, each performed in triplicate. The results were consideredto be statistically significant when P < 0.05(“comparison to control”-*, “comparison to drugonly”-#).
