Immunofluorescence staining of U87, U251 and HeLa cells using N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) subunit GLUN1 antibodies as well as α-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazole propionic acid receptor (AMPAR) subunit GLUA1 antibodies (flouresceine green coloured) merged with 4′,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) for nuclear staining (blue coloured). As all cell lines showed staining of GluN1 and GluA1, we consider this as an indication for the presence of NMDAR and AMPAR
