Plating efficiency of unirradiated A549 and FaDu cells is not affected by the administered low-dosed ganetespib. Clonogenic cell survival of A A549 cells and B FaDu cells was investigated after sham treatment or the administration of 2 nM or 1 nM Ganetespib, respectively. The reduced dose compared to previous data from proliferation assay accounted for the additional stress induced by the drug treatment preceding the plating procedure. Importantly, no difference in plating efficiency was observed at the investigated reduced dose.
