Dose calculation performance between RS-MC and FRoG was tested using an anthropomorphic head phantom with beams passing through complex heterogeneous regions within the head phantom. Dose maps and line profiles are displayed. Percent dose difference (%∆D) is provided demonstrating good agreement in the CTV while distal beam dose distortions from traversal through bone/soft-tissue/air interfaces resulted in range variations
