Beam setup for the VMAT_AVD technique in detail. For the cranial brain and neck PTV a full 360° rotation (isocenter 1) and for the caudal spine PTV a half rotation from 90° to 270° (isocenter 2) were applied. Avoidance sectors “AVD” of 40° (no irradiation) were applied (black area). For the kidney region limited anterior irradiation was used. The field overlapping area with the corresponding jaw positions is highlighted in yellow. The isocenter positions are marked with a red cross
