Kaplan-Meier plot of rectal small cell carcinoma cases treated with or without radiation. Rectal small cell carcinoma cases stratified by radiation treatment from the SEER database were subject to Kaplan-Meier analysis for retrospective survival benefit analysis. The no radiation therapy (No_RT) arm consisted of 28 cases. The group that received radiation therapy (RT) consisted of 43 cases.
