  1. aStereotactic intracerebral implantation of 103 F98 glioma cells was carried out on d. 0. Carboplatin (10 μg in 10 μL) was administered by convection enhanced delivery at a flow rate of 0.33 μL/min. for 30 min on day 13th and 15th.
  2. bAnimals received 15 Gy of 6 MV LINAC X-rays, delivered in two 7.5 Gy fractions on day 14th and 16th.
  3. cSurvival of >180 d. indicates that these animals have been cured of their tumors. The number in parenthesis indicates the number of long-term survivors.
