  1. All patients were treated with single doses of 2 Gy applied twice a day with an interfraction interval of at least eight hours on three consecutive days to a total dose of 12 Gy with lung sparing to a Dmean of 10 Gy and a Dmin of 8 Gy. Pitch values of 0.3-0.45 and modulation factors (MF) of 1.1-2.1 were used. Field width of 5 cm.
