The particle beam was accelerated by a synchrotron and scanned over the moving radiographic film with the scanning magnets. a) For experiments with translational motion the films were positioned free in air moving left-right in beam's eye view. The motion was recorded in temporal correlation to the dose delivery by a calibrated CCD camera that monitored an infrared LED attached to the sliding table. b) In a second series of experiments an absorber (PMMA) with 4 different thicknesses that was positioned proximal to the moving table introduced range changes.
