  1. EORTC QLQ-C30 results of this study and of the literature. The questionnaire assesses cancer-specific QOL. For all the questions, a scale from 1 to 4 was used (1: not at all, 2: a little, 3: quite a bit, 4: very much). All scores were linearly transformed such that all scales range from 0 to 100. For the six functional items, the higher score represents a higher level of functioning and for the symptoms/single items, a higher score means a higher level of symptomatology/problems. Brackets indicate "standard deviation". N = number of patients.
