Cell cycle profiles following exposure to ionizing radiation (IR). Four colorectal carcinoma cell lines (HCT116, Co115, SW620, and KM20L2) were exposed to 8 Gy of IR (+) and further incubated for the indicated time periods before cellular DNA contents were determined by flowcytometry analysis gated for Hoechst 33258 fluorescence. Cells with DNA contents characteristic for G1 and G2/M phase cells were found in channel numbers ~50 and 90–100 along the x axes, respectively. Scales indicating cell counts (y axes) are provided.
